Ottumwa, IA – Jamey Davidson Dies in Head-On Crash on US-63
Ottumwa, IA (October 22, 2021) – A head-on collision in Ottumwa left one man dead and two others injured on Thursday, October 21.
The fatal crash occurred on US-63 at around 6 p.m. that evening. Reports from the Iowa State Patrol revealed that 43-year-old Joshua Pugh of Osceola was traveling on the highway when the vehicle crossed the centerline. Pugh collided head-on with a car driven by 57-year-old Jamey Davidson of Bloomfield.
Davidson suffered fatal injuries in the impact. According to local reports, 35-year-old Alicia Aubrey also of Bloomfield and Pugh were also injured in the crash. Both victims were transported to a hospital in Des Moines for treatment.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
