Fayette Co, IA – Multiple Fatalities in Head-On Crash at IA-150 & Nature Rd
Fayette Co, IA (May 30, 2021) – On Friday, May 28, a deadly head-on collision in Fayette County left three people dead.
Reports from the Iowa State Patrol indicated that four people were traveling in a vehicle traveling on IA-150. At around 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, the vehicle was hit head-on by an oncoming semi-truck near the intersection with Nature Road. Three people were killed in the collision.
The deceased victims were identified as a 65-year-old and 18-year-old from North Liberty and a 9-year-old from Amana. Another victim, a 15-year-old from Amana, was hospitalized following the impact. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
