Marshalltown, IA – Shelly Tuttle Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Main Street Rd
Marshalltown, IA (July 25, 2021) – A woman suffered fatal injuries after her motorcycle was struck outside of Marshalltown on Saturday, July 24.
The deadly crash occurred in Marshall County near the intersection of Main Street Road and Wallace Avenue. That evening at around 9:22 p.m., local authorities were notified of the incident. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the victim was riding a Honda VT600CD motorcycle eastbound on Main Street Road when she was rear-ended by a 2013 Ford Escape.
The impact caused the rider, 48-year-old Shelly Anne Tuttle, to be ejected from the bike. She was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. Multiple emergency response crews were called to the scene.
