Butler Co, IA – Seth Sanderson Dies in Trucking Crash at Temple Ave & 280th St
Butler Co, IA (July 23, 2021) – A man was killed after colliding with a semi-truck in Butler County on Friday, July 23.
The fatal crash reportedly occurred at the crossing of Temple Avenue and 280th Street. Local authorities revealed that the incident took place in the early hours of the morning at around 4:30 a.m. Initial accounts indicated that 40-year-old Seth Sanderson was traveling west on 280th Street at the time of the impact.
Shortly after entering the intersection, Sanderson was struck by an oncoming pickup truck. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving measures, Sanderson was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown if the other driver involved suffered injuries.
