Allison, IA – Gene Chinander Dies in Crash with Parked Semi on IA-14
Allison, IA (October 14, 2021) – A local man was killed following a two-vehicle accident in Allison on Thursday, October 14.
The fatal accident took place on IA-14 near the intersection with IA-3 in Butler County. According to reports from the Iowa State Patrol, 69-year-old Gene Chinander of Allison was headed south on the highway in a pickup truck. When he entered the intersection, he collided with a parked semi-truck.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene at around 2:53 p.m. that afternoon. Emergency responders found Chinander dead at the scene. No further information has been released at this time.
