Auburn, IA – 16-Year-Old Killed in Crash with Semi on IA-175
Auburn, IA (October 12, 2021) – A teen girl died after being involved in a collision with a semi-truck in Auburn on Tuesday, October 12.
The incident took place early that morning at around 8:27 a.m. A 16-year-old girl from Auburn was reportedly traveling eastbound on IA-175 in Sac County at the time of the crash. An 18-wheeler operated by 50-year-old Matthew Dorscher of Cumberland was headed west on the highway.
The two vehicles reportedly collided head-on. The girl suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information on the fatal accident has been provided at this time.
