Black Hawk Co, IA – Evelyn Rogers Killed in Crash at Cedar Wapsi Rd & Wagner Rd
Black Hawk Co, IA (May 29, 2021) – A two-car collision in Black Hawk County resulted in the death of a Denver woman on Friday, May 28.
The fatal accident occurred at the crossing of Cedar Wapsi Road and Wagner Road at around 5 p.m. According to the Iowa State Police, a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Evelyn Rogers of Denver, Iowa was traveling through an intersection at the time of the deadly crash. Rogers’ vehicle was struck by a van shortly after entering the roadway crossing.
Rogers was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van, a 48-year-old Dunkerton man, also sustained injuries in the impact. No further information on the fatal collision has been provided at this time.
The ISP is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
