Windsor Heights, IA – Two Injured in Condo Fire on School St
Windsor Heights, IA (September 19, 2021) – Four condominiums were destroyed and two people were injured following a fire in Windsor Heights on Friday, September 17.
The blaze reportedly broke out at a four-unit condo at the 6570 block of School Street. Firefighters were sent to the scene at around 2:30 a.m. that morning. According to local reports, a 57-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were transported to the University of Iowa burn unit for treatment.
Emergency units from several nearby cities were called to assist. The condos were lost in the fire. The identities of the injured parties were not provided in the initial reports.
