The incident was reported near the crossing of County Road K22 and County Road C38. Officials from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office were notified of the crash at around 3:20 p.m. that afternoon. Kritis was reportedly traveling with a group of other motorcyclists. The crew reportedly began to slow down because a vehicle was blocking the opposing lane of traffic. Kritis lost control of the bike. This caused the motorcycle to crash into a nearby ditch.

Multiple emergency response units were present at the scene. The area was closed for several hours while medical personnel assisted the injured parties.
