Pattonsburg, IA (November 22, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Pattonsburg left one woman injured on Sunday night, November 21. The collision took place on Interstate 35.
Local reports indicated that 43-year-old Laura Beerbower of Mount Ayr was traveling north on the highway. She was reportedly traveling behind another vehicle. She continued to rear-end the car ahead of her which was driven by 31-year-old Tiffany Mallek of Ankeny.
This caused Mallek’s vehicle to leave the road and enter the ditch. She was taken to Liberty Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information has been revealed at this time.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
