Nora Springs, IA – Eppie Johnson Injured in Two-Car Crash at Vine Ave & 265th St
Nora Springs, IA (July 19, 2021) – A vehicle collision outside of Nora Springs left two people with injuries on Friday, July 16.
Local reports indicated that the incident occurred near the crossing of Vine Avenue and 265th Street. At around 9:30 p.m. that evening, a pickup truck driven by Kade Hambly of Mason City entered the intersection after running a stop sign. It was then that Hambly crashed into a motor vehicle operated by 27-year-old Eppie Johnson of Rock Falls.
Both Johnson and his passenger, 24-year-old Shaylin McRoberts, were injured in the accident. Both parties were transported by ambulance to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City for the treatment of sustained injuries. Hambly was cited for multiple charges, including operating while under the influence, driving with a revoked license, and failure to yield.
