Newkirk, IA – Natashia Guse Injured in Two-Car Crash at 370th St & Kingbird Ave
Newkirk, IA (November 24, 2021) – A woman and a young child were injured after being hit by a car while traveling through an intersection in Newkirk on Tuesday afternoon, November 23. The car crash occurred at the intersection of 370th Street and Kingbird Avenue.
Local reports revealed that 24-year-old Ryan Bolster of Spirit Lake was driving a 2020 Chevrolet FedEx van. Bolster reportedly slowed but did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection. At that time, 31-year-old Natashia Guse of Sheldon was headed south in a 2015 Ford Taurus.
The two vehicles collided at the crossroads. Guse and her 4-year-old passenger were transported to Orange City Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported. Bolster was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
An ongoing crash investigation is underway.
