Jesup, IA (July 25, 2021) – There were confirmed injuries in the aftermath of a vehicle accident outside Jesup on Saturday, July 23.
Local reports revealed that the crash took place at the 12000 block of Dubuque Road. Local authorities reported that a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on the roadway as the driver slowed to make a right turn. It was at that time the pickup truck was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Impala.
The site was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present. Both drivers involved were taken to a nearby hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, no updates on the extent of the related injuries have been provided.
