Floyd Co, IA – Danny Pattschull Injured in Motorcycle Crash at 5th Ave & E St
Floyd Co, IA (July 27, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Floyd County involving a motorcyclist ended in injuries on Sunday, July 25.
The crash reportedly occurred near the corner of 5th Avenue and East Street early that morning at around 11:50 a.m. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 67-year-old Danny Pattschull of Charles City was riding a motorcycle as he approached the intersection. At the same time, 23-year-old Isabelle Worrall also from Charles City was traveling in a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu.
Worrall reportedly ran a stop sign at the intersection, crashing into Pattschull’s motorcycle. The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the bike. Pattschull was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries.
Charges are currently pending. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway. As the inquiry continues, further details will be made public.
