Fairfax, IA (August 21, 2021) – On Saturday, August 21, a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Fairfax resulted in injuries.
The incident took place early that morning near the time of 9:44 a.m. Local authorities were called to the scene at the crossing of US-151 and 80th Street. Initial reports indicated that a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle was headed northbound on the highway as a 2010 Jeep Liberty was traveling westbound on 80th Street.
Local sources revealed that the driver of the Jeep failed to stop and yield the right of way at the intersection. Both vehicles collided, and the operator of the bike and their passenger suffered injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
