Des Moines, IA (October 2, 2021) – On Saturday, October 2, one person was killed and another injured after a single-vehicle accident in Des Moines.
Emergency responders were sent to the scene at the 3000 block of Scott Avenue. The crash was reported early that morning at around 3:30 a.m. According to local reports, an adult female was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another adult passenger was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the incident. The vehicle left the roadway where it crashed into a tree.
