De Soto, IA – Maximilian Kasap Injured in Deadly Car Crash on I-80
De Soto, IA (October 11, 2021) – A passenger was injured and a driver killed after a traffic accident in De Soto on Sunday, October 10.
The deadly crash took place on Interstate 80. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at around 1 p.m. that afternoon. Local reports revealed that 19-year-old Samuel Kasap was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before hitting a guardrail. Kasap was ejected from the vehicle in the impact. His passenger, 23-year-old Maximillian Kasap, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
