Cedar Rapids, IA – Illinois Man Dies in Semi-Truck Accident
Cedar Rapids, IA (October 27, 2021) – An Illinois man was killed after colliding with a commercial truck in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, October 27.
The incident was reported early that morning at around 7 a.m. According to local reports, 52-year-old Jan Bisek was driving on a roadway at the time of the crash. A semi-truck reportedly entered the roadway and began to pick up speed.
Bisek’s vehicle crashed with the commercial vehicle. Both vehicles left the road and entered a ditch. Bisek suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local authorities.
