Bouton, IA – Morgan Terry Injured in Stop-Sign Crash at IA-141 & Quinlan Ave
Bouton, IA (May 18, 2021) – Three people were injured after a driver ran a stop sign in Bouton on Monday, May 17.
Initial reports revealed that the crash occurred at the intersection of IA-141 and Quinlan Avenue. According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan Terry of Ankeny was driving eastbound on the highway at the time of the impact. Darlene Onken of Carroll reportedly ran a stop sign, entering the path of Terry’s vehicle and colliding with the side of Terry’s vehicle.
Terry was transported to Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines for the treatment of sustained injuries. Onken and her passenger were taken by ambulance to Dallas County Hospital. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
