Adair Co, IA – Tammy Brock Injured in Pileup Crash on I-80
Adair Co, IA (July 3, 2021) – A Tennessee man was injured in the aftermath of a multi-vehicle accident in Adair County on Wednesday, June 30.
The incident occurred on Interstate 80 outside of Menlo that afternoon, according to reports from the Iowa State Police. Initial reports revealed that a 2018 Ford Transit van operated by 57-year-old Tammy Brock of Cleveland, Tennessee and a 2004 Ford E-450 pickup driven by 57-year-old Lee McCleary of Vernon, Arizona were slowing down due to an upcoming lane closure near mile marker 91.
It was at this time that Brock collided with the rear of a 2011 Honda CRV that was being towed by McCleary’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to a rest on the eastbound lanes of I-80. Brock was transported to Stuart Rescue to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines for the treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported.
An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more details will be provided as it continues.
