Marshalltown, IA – Two Injured in Head-On Crash on IA-14
Marshalltown, IA (September 22, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident on Tuesday, September 21, in Marshalltown.
The crash occurred that afternoon at around 3:50 p.m., north of the city on IA-14. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2018 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck was headed northbound on the highway when the driver crossed the centerline.
The pickup crashed head-on with an oncoming 2000 Honda Civic. The driver of the other vehicle was unable to avoid the collision. Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals for the treatment of sustained injuries. The area was closed for some time while emergency responders were present.
