Winneshiek Co, IA – Joan Lubke Injured in ATV Accident on IA-9
Winneshiek Co, IA (June 19, 2021) – A Ridgeway woman was injured after being involved in a crash while riding an all-terrain vehicle in the Winneshiek County area on Friday, June 18.
Local sources indicated that the accident occurred on IA-9 at around 4:45 p.m. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 77-year-old Joan Lubke of Ridgeway was riding the ATV on the shoulder of the highway. As she traveled across the road, she was hit by an oncoming van.
Lubke was airlifted for treatment to a hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The driver of the van, 84-year-old Roger Meythaler of Ridgeway, was not injured in the impact. No further updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided at this time.
