West Liberty, IA – One Killed in Rollover Accident on Delta Ave
West Liberty, IA (August 6, 2021) – On Tuesday, August 3, two people were injured and one was killed in the aftermath of a rollover crash in West Liberty.
The deadly accident occurred in Muscatine County at the 2258 block of Delta Avenue. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2010 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on the roadway when the driver lost control. The car entered a nearby ditch, causing it to overturn.
The accident resulted in the front-seat passenger being ejected. The driver was able to exit the vehicle and assist the passenger in the rear of the vehicle. One victim was transported to UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids where they were later pronounced dead. Another victim was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for treatment.
