Sherril, IA – Pamela Krieg Hit by Stop-Sign Runner at Hammerand Rd & Sherril Rd
Sherril, IA (October 2, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Sherrill left one person injured on Thursday, September 30.
The site of the crash was located at the intersection of Hammerand Road and Sherril Road. The incident was reported late that evening at around 6:10 p.m. Local reports revealed that 64-year-old Pamela M. Krieg of Sherill was driving westbound at the time of the crash.
When she entered the intersection, Krieg was hit by a car driven by 54-year-old Mark A. Prier of Dubuque. Krieg was transported to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment. Prier was later cited by authorities for failure to yield.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
