Mills Co, IA – Seven Injured in Traffic Accident at Mahaffey Rd & Levi Rd
Mills Co, IA (July 28, 2021) – There were multiple injuries reported in the aftermath of a single-vehicle crash in Mills County on Saturday, July 24.
Local officials were notified of the incident at around 6:30 p.m. that evening. The crash occurred at the intersection of Mahaffey Road and Levi Road. A total of seven people were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, including five children with ages ranging from 5 months to 13 years.
All the occupants were transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center by ambulance or helicopter. Three of the juvenile victims were reportedly riding in the bed of the truck, unrestrained at the time of the crash. No further updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided.
