Linn Co, IA – Shawn Barowski Injured in US-30 Motorcycle Accident
Linn Co, IA (July 27, 2021) – A motorcycle crash in Linn County ended in hospitalization on Sunday, July 25.
The incident occurred late that evening at around 8:45 p.m. Emergency responders were sent to the scene located at the crossing of US-30 and Williams Boulevard. According to local authorities, 47-year-old Jethro Barowski was headed southbound on a motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Barowski reportedly lost control of the vehicle. He told local news sources that he hit an oil slick on the roadway. Barowski was not injured in the accident, but his passenger, 53-year-old Shawn Barowski, was hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries. She reportedly sustained multiple leg fractures and will need to undergo surgery.
