Johnston, IA (May 26, 2021) – On Tuesday, May 25, a pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Johnston area.
The collision occurred at around 10:30 a.m. that morning at the corner of Merle Hay Road and 61st Avenue. A pedestrian was reportedly crossing at the intersection when he was struck by an oncoming driver. First responders were called to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
