Dubuque, IA – Kristina Haxmeier Injured in Pileup Crash at IA-32 & Dodge St
Dubuque, IA (June 11, 2021) – Local reports revealed that a four-vehicle collision on Tuesday night, June 8, in Dubuque left multiple people injured.
The accident reportedly occurred at around 9:35 p.m. that night at the crossing of IA-32 and Dodge Street. Law enforcement officials reported that 27-year-old Adam C. Spinoso of Asbury was traveling southbound on the highway when he ran a red light at the intersection. Spinoso consequently crashed into a westbound vehicle on Dodge Street driven by 49-year-old Kristinia A. Haxmeier of La Motte.
The impact caused Haxmeier to collide with another car operated by a 16-year-old Dubuque woman before hitting yet another vehicle driven by 58-year-old Michael W. Spoerl of Sherrill. Haxmeier, Spinoso, and the teen driver were transported to MercyeOne Dubuque Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. Spinoso was cited by authorities for failure to provide proof of financial liability and failure to respond to a traffic signal.
An ongoing investigation into the collision is being managed by local officials.
