Clinton, IA – Timothy Daniels Injured in Pileup Crash at 25th Ave & 2nd St
Clinton, IA (June 15, 2021) – A multi-vehicle collision in Clinton resulted in two men suffering serious injuries on Saturday, June 12.
Local reports revealed that the site was located at the intersection of 25th Avenue N. and N. 2nd Street. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 53-year-old Timothy A. Daniels was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on 25th Avenue when he failed to yield to a 2008 Jeep Liberty operated by 37-year-old Rachael M. Bergeron of Clinton. Both vehicles subsequently crashed.
Following the impact, Bergeron continued south where she crashed into a 1999 Dodge Durango. No one was inside the vehicle, but 52-year-old Joseph W. Kilburg was working underneath at the time of the accident. Both the motorcycle and the Jeep were removed from the scene.
Daniels and Kilburg were airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in serious condition. Law enforcement officials are managing the ongoing crash investigation.
