Black Hawk Co, IA – Fatal Two-Car Accident at Cedar Wapsi Rd & Raymond Rd
Black Hawk Co, IA (July 2, 2021) – There was a reported fatality in the aftermath of a two-vehicle collision on Thursday, July 1, in Black Hawk County.
Initial reports indicated that the deadly accident occurred at the crossing of Cedar Wapsi Road and Raymond Road at around 12:30 p.m. that afternoon. Local authorities revealed that the driver of a 1996 Buick Century was traveling westbound when they failed to stop at a stop sign. The motorist collided with an oncoming 2007 Lincoln MKX.
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed. Multiple parties were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the injured victims was later pronounced dead.
