Des Moines, IA (November 2, 2021) – On Saturday, October 30, a pedestrian sustained significant injuries following a traffic accident in the Des Moines area.
The incident occurred at the crossing of SW 9th Street and Porter Avenue. Officials from the Des Moines Police Department were called to the scene at around 10:45 p.m. that evening. The 35-year-old man was crossing at the intersection when he was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
