Waukon, IA – Kurt Lepping Injured in Agricultural Accident
Waukon, IA (August 5, 2021) – An Alaska man suffered injuries after being involved in a crash while working at a local farm in Waukon on Wednesday, August 4.
The incident reportedly took place in a nearby cornfield, and officials from the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene at around 8 a.m. that morning. Local reports revealed that 66-year-old Kurt Lepping of Wasilla, Alaska was injured in the crash.
Lepping was flying low in a helicopter applying agriculture chemicals to the field at the time of the incident. He reportedly struck a power line, causing the vehicle to crash to the ground. He was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. He was treated at the medical facility and later released.
