Wahpeton, IA – Marilyn Dirks Injured in Two-Car Crash at IA-86 & 190th St
Wahpeton, IA (November 18, 2021) – A two-vehicle collision ended in the injury of a Sergeant Bluffs woman on Friday evening, October 29. The accident took place at the intersection of IA-86 and 190th Street at around 7:38 p.m.
Local reports indicated that 25-year-old Sarah Yotter of Cottonwood, Minnesota was traveling southbound on the highway at the time of impact. A vehicle driven by 67-year-old Marilyn Dirks of Sergeant Bluff was stopped at the intersection. Both vehicles reportedly collided at the crossroads.
Dirks had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Local authorities are currently handling the ongoing accident investigation.
