Riverside, IA – Two Injured in Car Crash at IA-22 & Enterprise Dr
Riverside, IA (October 22, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Riverside resulted in the injury of two teenagers in Riverside on Thursday, October 21.
The accident occurred at the crossing of IA-22 and Enterprise Drive early that morning at around 7:40 a.m. A 16-year-old was reportedly driving a 1993 Jeep Wrangler with a 12-year-old passenger. The vehicle crashed into a Volvo truck operated by 85-year-old Lloyd Richards.
Roberts reportedly failed to yield prior to entering the intersection. Both minors in the Jeep were taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. Roberts was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
