Monticello, IA (September 5, 2021) – On Sunday, September 5, a driver was killed and a passenger injured after a single-vehicle accident in Monticello.
The deadly crash reportedly occurred at the 21700 block of River Road. The Iowa State Patrol was notified of the accident at around 2:02 a.m. that morning. Local reports revealed that a 2004 Ford Explorer was headed southbound on the roadway when it entered a nearby ditch.
