Linn Co, IA – Catherine Fritz Injured in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on Summit View Ln
Linn Co, IA (June 24, 2021) – There were hospitalizations following a pileup crash in Linn County on Wednesday, June 23.
According to local sources, the accident occurred that night at around 5:30 p.m. Emergency personnel were called to the scene on Summit View Lane. Local authorities reported that 27-year-old Catherine Fritz of Anamosa was driving a Chevrolet HHR at the time of the incident.
Fritz reportedly failed to avoid crashing into the rear of two other vehicles on the roadway. Fritz and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The passenger of another vehicle was also taken to a medical facility.
Frita was cited for failure to stop a clear distance. At this time, no further information has been released. Law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
