Des Moines, IA – Man Hit by Chrysler in Hit-&-Run on SE 14th St
Des Moines, IA (September 24, 2021) – On Thursday, September 23, a man was injured after being involved in a hit-and-run in the Des Moines area.
The incident was reported late that evening at around 7:30 p.m. Emergency responders were sent to the scene of the crash located near the intersection of SE 14th Street and Kenyon Avenue. A 41-year-old man was reportedly hit while walking along SE 14th Street.
The driver fled the scene following the impact. The injured party was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. Local witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored Chrysler 300 weaving in-and-out of traffic leading up to the incident.
