Des Moines, IA (September 22, 2021) – An accident at a local tire plant in Des Moines left a worker injured on Wednesday, September 22.
Local authorities were sent to the scene at the Titan Tire manufacturing plant at the 2345 block of E. Market Street. The incident was reported early that morning at around 4 a.m. Emergency crews were spotted at the scene.
The male employee was reportedly caught in machinery. The 49-year-old was at least partially crushed and had to be extricated by emergency personnel.
