Davenport, IA – Motorcyclist Injured in Pileup Crash at Warren St & Locust St
Davenport, IA (October 9, 2021) – There were multiple injuries in teh aftermath of a car accident in the Davenport area on Friday, October 8.
The crash reportedly took place at the intersection of Warren Street and Locust Street that night at around 10:52 p.m. According to local officials, a Jeep Cherokee was headed north on Warren Street as it started to cross the four-lane roadway at Locust Street. The Jeep was hit by an eastbound Infinity G35.
Both vehicles came to a stop on different areas of the roadway. That is when a westbound motorcyclist struck the disabled Infinity. The male rider suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Genesis Medical Center-East Campus in Davenport before being transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Three other involved parties were also injured. An ongoing crash investigation is underway.
