Cedar Rapids, IA – Two Injured in Two-Car Crash on Hwy 100 at Center Point Rd
Cedar Rapids, IA (May 8, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on Saturday evening, May 8, sent two victims to the hospital, according to reports from authorities.
The accident occurred on Highway 100 northeast at Center Point Road and occurred around 7:30 p.m. when two vehicles collided.
Officers with the Cedar Rapids Police Department, fire rescue units, and EMTs with Area ambulance responded.
CRFD had to extricate the driver of one vehicle. Both drivers went to the hospital via ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There was a passenger in one vehicle that did not require immediate medical care.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
