Cedar Rapids, IA – Jordan Cabalka Killed in Wood Edge Dr ATV Accident
Cedar Rapids, IA (May 4, 2021) – An Edgewood man was killed after an all-terrain vehicle crashed in Cedar Rapids on Sunday, May 3.
The fatal accident occurred on Wood Edge Drive at around 8 p.m. in Delaware County. According to local sources, a 25-year-old woman was operating the ATV. The operator lost control of the vehicle while rounding a curve on the roadway.
Both occupants were ejected due to the accident as the ATV overturned. A passenger on the ATV, 32-year-old Jordan Cabalka of Edgewood, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The operator was injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Local law enforcement officials are managing the investigation into the deadly ATV crash.
