Burlington, IA – Two Injured After Motorcycle Crash at Lennox Ave & Roosevelt Ave
Burlington, IA (August 3, 2021) – A motorcycle accident in Burlington left two people injured on Friday, July 30.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Lennox Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue that afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. Reports from the Burlington Fire Department revealed that the crash involved a woman and a man in their 40s. Both involved parties sustained significant injuries in the accident.
The man was taken by helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for the treatment of serious injuries. The woman was transported by ambulance to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. The identities of the injured parties have not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being handled by local authorities.
