Waterloo, IA – Tyler Greene Hit by SUV at 4th & Allen St

Waterloo, IA (November 11, 2021) – A pedestrian in a wheelchair was injured after being struck by a motor vehicle in the Waterloo area on Monday afternoon, November 8. The accident occurred at the intersection of 4th and Allen Streets at around 3:30 p.m. 

Local authorities reported that 31-year-old Tyler David Greene was crossing 4th Street when he was hit by a southbound Ford Edge driven by 24-year-old Jeanne Affambi. The driver told authorities glare from the sun prevented her from seeing the pedestrian. 

Greene was flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, no updates on the incident have been made public. 

An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
