Washington Co, IA – Three Teens Injured in Rollover at Quince Ave & 285th St
Washington Co, IA (September 18, 2021) – On Friday, September 17, three victims were injured in the aftermath of a rollover crash in Washington County.
The incident was reported by the Iowa State Patrol at around 1:57 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 15-year-old was driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck at the time of the crash. Near the intersection of Quince Avenue and 285th Street, the vehicle overturned.
The driver lost control on the gravel road. The pickup rolled over several times. All three riders were ejected from the vehicle. Two victims were taken by ambulance and another was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. No further information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
