Davenport, IA (October 8, 2021) – On Thursday, October 7, a woman sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a pickup truck in Davenport.
The incident was reported that day at around 5 p.m. The scene was located at the intersection of Locust Street and Lincoln Avenue. Local authorities revealed that a woman was crossing the area at the time of the crash.
The pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck making a left-hand turn. The 60-year-old woman suffered critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She was later flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals. No further updates have been provided.
