Cedar Rapids, IA (October 17, 2021) – There were reported injuries following a pedestrian accident in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, October 6.
The scene was located at the crossing of 1st Avenue and 35th Street E. A pedestrian was traveling at the intersection when he was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. An adult male reportedly sustained injuries.
Emergency responders were on-site to provide aid to the injured party. The suspect driver fled the scene without providing aid. No further information on the incident has been provided at this time.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department is managing the ongoing crash investigation at this time.
