Sioux City, IA – Motorcyclist Dies in Trucking Accident on Lewis Blvd
Sioux City, IA (August 12, 2021) – On Thursday, August 12, a two-vehicle crash in Sioux City involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck ended in a fatality.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred at the 2400 block of Lewis Boulevard. The crash was reported early that morning at around 11:10 a.m. Emergency responders arrived and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the accident.
Local sources revealed that an 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on the roadway as it slowed down to make a left turn onto Northbrook Drive. It was at that time that the truck and a motorcyclist collided. The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
