Minden, IA (October 7, 2021) – Two workers at a construction site were injured after being involved in a collision in Minden on Wednesday, October 6. 

The incident occurred on Interstate 80 EB early that morning. A semi-truck was headed east on the highway when it passed a construction vehicle. It then rear-ended a 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck that was a part of the construction crew. 

The driver of the pickup and another worker were getting materials out of the vehicle and were hit. The traffic on the highway was brought to a stop due to the accident. No further updates on the incident have been revealed at this time.
