Le Mars, IA – Crash at 200th St & Key Ave Injures Sandra Combs
Le Mars, IA (October 14, 2021) – There were reported injuries after a two-car crash in Le Mars on Monday, October 11.
The collision occurred at the crossing of 200th Street and Key Avenue at around 11:37 a.m. that morning. According to local authorities, 20-year-old Christopher Dunn was headed north on Key Avenue in a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck. Dunn reportedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a 2016 Dodge Caravan.
The Dodge entered an embankment. Both vehicles were a total loss. The driver of the Caravan, 44-year-old Sandra Combs of Waterloo, was transported to hospital in New Hampton for treatment. The area was blocked while emergency units were present.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
