Floyd Co, IA – Chris, Anita Anderson Killed in Crash at Underwood Ave & 140th St
Floyd Co, IA (September 5, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Floyd County on Saturday, September 4, ended in fatalities and injuries.
The incident reportedly took place at the intersection of Underwood Avenue and 140th Street. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at around 2:09 p.m. that afternoon. Local reports revealed that 28-year-old Casey Lindahl of Charles City was driving a 2012 Ford Edge at the time of the crash.
Lindahl reportedly crossed the centerline of the roadway and collided with another vehicle operated by 77-year-old Chris Anderson of Mason City. Both Anderson and his passenger, 76-year-old Anita Anderson, were killed in the accident. Lindahl and a three-year-old in their vehicle suffered injuries after the crash. No further information on the fatal accident has been provided at this time.
